SENIOR BLAKE SIFFERLIN WINS GOLD ENROUTE TO SMASHING ANOTHER SCHOOL RECORD AT THE STATE INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP

BLAKE SIFFERLIN LEAPING 16′

Senior Blake Sifferlin smashes his own school record in the pole vault on his way to capturing the Gold Medal at the State Indoor Track and Field Championship this past weekend in Geneva.

The Lady Irish 4 by 800 relay team placed 3rd in the state by crushing their former time by over 48 seconds. The team consisted of Kate Saum, Olivia Kindbom, Aislynn McVicker and Anne Rea.

Junior Jaya Bush placed 8th in the 60 meter hurdles and Senior Dhiren Brickman ran a personal best time in the 800 to capture 2nd place.

Congratulations to all of the Fighting Irish for their performances this past weekend.
