The 2018 story for the Fighting Irish Cross Country team concluded with fantastic results.
The Men’s team took home their 5th runner up team trophy in 19 years. In addition, Seniors Alex Phillip (3rd) and Matt Sollenberger (8th) placed in the top 20 and earned a spot on the podium. Senior Colin Scahill finished in 29th place to earn All Ohio honors.
The Women’s team also finished as the 2nd best team in the state. The Irish had three women stand atop the podium: Theresa Hagey took 8th place, Nina Zraik took 14th place and Amelia Moll took 16th place.
All of these honors will be on display in the Cosgrove Building on the Wall of Honor.
Adding to both teams success was an additional honor with 11 out of 12 runners earning Academic All Ohio honors.
