Women and Men’s distance shine at Amherst Relays

FOSTER 300

At the Comet Relays in Amherst, where the field was loaded with Division I teams, the women and men’s distance team did not back down from the competition. Senior 3200 meter runner Leah Lisle fell just 2 second short of the school record with a time of 11:21.

The guys 4 by 800 team also went after a very strong field of competitors as they finished in 3rd place with a team of Patrick White, Alex Phillip, Sean O’Brien and Matt Sollenberger

The feature highlight for the Irish was Senior Sara Foster who crushed the field in the 300 hurdles to win the event.
